Replacing these shims is an important part of this job. The shims wear and thousands of an inch wear and difference can effect the steering and gear. And installed bushings in gear included. The gears wear much faster and make problems when not shimmed correct or shims are worn or missing. Check Steering shaft gear for wear. We have replacement shafts, gears and pivot pin kits as well.
Used on all 200, 300, 400, 3000, and 4000 non power steering tractor models since the early 70s. It is also used on Massey Ferguson GTX 200 and 300 model tractors.
