C30031, 28 680, Rear end Differential Carrier UPGRADED Bolts. Our kit includes 4 heavy duty grade 8 Black Oxide Hardened Flange Bolts, 4 Grade 8 Metal lock Flange Nuts and thread Locker. The original bolts have been known to shear or loosen and cause catastrophic damage in the rears of Case Ingersoll machines and often get wedged under the bull gears and blow out the rearend case!
Because of the way the Hydrive system transfer power and direction almost immediately unlike belts, clutches, hydrostats that slip and give, therefor the bolts take a lot of abuse.
We ALWAYS recommended stopping completely before changing direction. Loaded tires, wheel weights, loaders.backhoes can amplify the situation. If so any rear end work or you feel and or hear clunking, shuttering or have axle play we recommend upgrading these for insurance. OPTION- To Upgrade to Grade 9 EXTREME Duty Bolts
OPTION- Add Rear End Lid Cover Gasket
OPTION- Add New Fresh Axle Retaining "C" Clips, The ones that going flying across the shop when removed and often are sprung.
OPTION- Add 2 Axle Seals for either EARLY rear ends or MID/LATE rear ends.
