(NOTE- On some rears some very light honeing, sanding etc light material removal may be

needed to install new brake bushings only on some rears.)

OPTION- To Add 2 Axle Retaining "C" Clips

This kit is for rear ends on tractors with the straight axle tube ends NOT the flared large end tubes - look at photos. These axles are found on most  1978 and earlier tractors and loaders/backhoes. BUT CHECK YOURS rear and your parts book. Later rears with flared axle tubes  Kit HERE

We highly recommend replacing all the axle bushings and seals at the same time. Worn axles, bushings and seals can lead to rearend and or axle failures. There should be little to no up and down or back and fourth play and movement in your axle. Also, there should be no leakage when filled up to rear fill plug height with oil. If you have a failed seal, it is also likely the axle bushings are worn, too, and that's why the seal failed.
