USED Holding Valve-SF. This listting is for "SHORT" Frame models often called  L7/M7 valves and others. Used on Small wheel 220,222,224,226 and "Short" Frame pre 1980 444, 446, 448. Includes one USED valve, hard lines and fittings for valve being shipped. You may or may not need the fittings included depending on your tractor. Your lines you get with valve may very. But they will be set up for your "short" frame tractor. Different years had different fittings used on rear and travel valve so you may need to swap the fittings or it may go on as is. Fittings are either straight Fittings or 90 degree fittings. YOU WILL BE SHIPPED A SHORT FRAME VALVE SET UP WITH TUBES AND FITTINGS. WE HAVE MANY AND THE PHOTO MAY NOT BE THE EXACT ONE YOU GET.

HOLDING VALVES ARE A MUST AND NEEDED FOR SAFTEY. Esspecially if you have any hills or inclines. They prevent "freewheeling" down hill. So within reason what ever speed you start going down a hill at you will go don the hill the same speed top to bottom, forward or reverese. Valve hooks between Travel Control Valve And Rear End in Place of the 2 large tubes you have.
 
After the mid 1980's all Case Ingersoll models had built in holding valves.

SHOP TIP- If you have to change the 90 degree fitting on TOP port of drive motor and do not want to lower the rear you can saw the right angle part of the 90 fitting so you can then clear frame and unthread. We recommend downloading a holding valve Operators Manual.

    Recived one thats different than the one pictured which wouldnt bother me if it was equivelent, but Its missing fittings that go to the drive motor, also the front lower hardline looks to have been rubbing on something hard for awhile so hopfully doesnt leak. Havent been able to install it due to waiting on fittings i had to order. I understand these are used, but feel one in poorer condition and missing fittings compaired to the one pictured shouldnt be priced the same. Its kindof missleading.
