OUR PTO Cam Bearing Retainer Kit includes TWO Cams these are CNC machined right here and have a light black oxide coating to help prevent rust and friction. These are not the poor quality replacement ones that have been offered as of late by Ingersoll that crack and break. These are used to retain and engage your PTO bearings for your attachment drive on the front of your engine. Used on most all 200 and 400 series garden tractors without electric PTO clutch.
These cams do wear where the fork engages them, as well as where the bearings are housed. They can effect PTO operation and performance as well as adjustment versions of these offered by Ingersoll can also crack and break ours wont. They should always be replaced in pairs.
