Powered by the legendary Kohler 14 HP single-cylinder engine, but like winning the lottery, this original K-Series appears to be one of those special ones. Anyone who has been around Kohler K-Series engines knows that every once in a while one comes along that simply hits harder than the rest. This machine is one of those tractors that immediately gets the attention of collectors, pullers, and serious Case enthusiasts.Included with this package are:2 mower decks (including a nicer replacement deck)Snow blowerSnow/dozer bladeRoto tillerSweeper (needs some TLC)Original wheel weightsFront round weights and mounting bracketSleeve hitchPTO valveMultiple additional attachments and accessoriesOnly a handful of these Black Knight Demonstrators were built. They were supplied to dealers as demonstration units that prospective customers could take home and use for a few days to experience the capabilities of these machines firsthand. After a period of dealer demonstrations, the dealer could purchase the tractor at a discount and either keep it or sell it.The history we were given is that this tractor came from Salem Farm Supply in New York and was sold with the attachments shown. The tiller and snow blower are exceptionally clean. The dozer blade shows honest use but remains fully functional. The sweeper will need some attention, but it is included with the package.At the heart of this machine is the beloved Kohler K-Series 14 horsepower engine. Those familiar with K-Series Kohlers know there is one in every 10,000? that is just "one of those engines." Same parts. Same horsepower rating. Same factory specifications.
