C31908 Custom Master Rebuild Kit. HUGE SAVINGS AND UPGRADE OVER OEM SET UP. Our custom in-house 48-inch snow thrower 16-tooth sprocket C31908 replacement kit we designed and put together for Jack Shaft full rebuilds on Case Ingersoll Snow Blowers. To offer an affordable option for OEM parts as well as a kit that offers adjustability and is also serviceable down the road. Where as the OEM setup is not really serviceable since the sprocket is fully welded and the pulley and bearings tend to get damaged if and when coming apart and leads to total parts replacement even if only one is failed. With our custom kit here, you get a keyed shaft along with one keyed heavy-duty sprocket AND included in our kit is one keyed heavy-duty pulley (not included in the OEM version kit)
Also, a full jackshaft bearing kit and hardware are included.
 
These kits being keyed allows for adjustment and alignment. These components are heavier-duty than their OEM counterparts and
are priced more affordable. Be sure to watch our videos explaining the kit components as well as their install videos.
 
This kit replaces/upgrades part numbers C31908 Jackshaft, C14579 16-tooth sprocket, which is the standard on many 48-inch snow blowers, snow throwers. Also included are two C48649 kits, which include 2 new bearings C28817 (C14414), 4 flange bearing retainers C28277, AND New Hardware included.
 
The 16-tooth shaft is used on Case Ingersoll Snow Blowers on Garden Tractors 200, 3000, 400, and 4000 series models (not 3100 or 4100). This shaft kit can be used on J84, K84, L84, M84, N84, P84, R84, S84 Snow Casters AND SB48 Models.
 
A Template and instructions are included to update early blowers to be able to use this new style bearing setup as it is the current option for all blowers, some very minor grinding/filing, etc MAY be needed on "some older models" to fit bearings and retainers.

OPTION - To add an OEM Drive Belt For Snow Blower, Choose C23539 for Big Wheel Models 400, 4000, or C23538 For Small Wheel Models 200, and 3000 series.
 
OPTION - To add New Drive Chain and AUGER Bearings Kits, select the correct kit for your “Auger” Bearing Style.
Choose Kit #1 with ROUND AUGER Bearings
C28971 and Correct C46469 Chain for this jackshaft setup. Round bearings came factory equipped on M84,N84,P84,R84,S84, and SB38/48 snow caster augers
 
If you have HEX AUGER bearings Choose kit #2 with two C29265 Hex Bearing Replacements and correct C46469 chain for this jackshaft kit. (F84, G84, H84, J84, K84, and L84 snowblowers came factory with "HEX" bearings but these models may have been changed to round bearings over the years so we recommend pulling your "auger" bearings before ordering to confirm!)
 
OPTION- To Add Mule Drive Full Rebuild Kit For Snow Caster Models Used on 200, 400, 3000, and 4000 series tractors.
