Does your Onan Engine in any brand equipment, or your 3000 or 4000 and 6000 series Onan-powered or repowered Case  Ingersoll just "click" frequently when you turn the key? Start slow or weak? This very possibly could solve all of your issues. 
 
By design, the starter gets its voltage and signal through the wiring system and safety switch system as well as through your key switch. Even when the system was new, this was not a great set up but especially over time with dirty connections, fatigued or broken wires, bad contacts, and worn or broken switches the situation is amplified.
 
By installing our fuse-protected relay kit you eliminate all of this. In short, all the key switch will now be sending a signal to this relay that connects direct full battery power to the starter and solenoid with nothing else in-between. The starter and the solenoid are getting full battery power now. This is a great upgrade for most any Case Ingersoll tractor whether you are having issues or not yet. This has no effect on any of your current safety system or switches. It is a very simple and quick install. We will EMAIL simple instructions and photos.  It is a very clean, neat, easy, and fast, basically, plug-and-play installation. This really neat relay comes already fuse-protected eliminating the need to add any additional fuses. Wire terminals come not connected in case you choose to locate this relay anywhere you want, if you don't want to use our recommended location all you have to do is add wire length so you can locate it wherever you so choose. The relay also comes with a metal mounting bracket that has a predrilled hole.
 
We also recommend replacing your key switch at this time as chances are your key switch is old and worn out and has more resistance adding to the starting issue. The correct key switch for Onan-powered 3000/4000 series models is C30530, usually in stock.

Onan Powered 3000/4000/6000 series starter relay upgrade modification kit will come with: One fuse-protected relay with a 30 amp fuse, one plug/harness for the back of the relay (pre-stripped) ALWAYS WIRE ACCORDING TO RELAY POST NUMBER AND NOT BY WIRE COLORS AS COLORS SOMETIMES GET SWAPPED AT FACTORY, one blue heat shrink ring terminal (5/16), one red heat shrink ring terminal (1/4), one hard blue nylon female spade (fully insulated), one blue heat shrink and seal male spade connector and 7 inches of marine heat shrink.
